This is also an excellent chance for those getting into town late to come over, wind down from the drive, relax, meet some of the locals, and share stories.
Summary - If you've made it this far, you may be feeling a little overwhelmed, or feeling like you don't want to participate in every one of these events. I've got some good news for you...you don't have to participate in all of the events. You are welcome to come to any event you wish, be it just one or two events, or all of them. Even if you just wish to come to the Cars and Coffee event and the BBQ, that's fine. Just meet for lunch and karting, that's fine too. Only sign up for the events you want, make it the most fun for you. Registration can be found here.
Notes regarding the drive: Please perform a full safety check prior to arrival at the Park and Ride. This includes checking all fluids, tire pressures, make sure you have a battery hold down, nothing loose in your car to slide around, your brakes are working properly, and your tires have decent tread on them. The routes we will be taking for either drive involve winding roads, some slightly rough sections of pavement depending on water damage from the season, some steep uphill and downhill sections. Also please make sure to fill your gas tank prior to meeting for the drive, so we don't need to stop for fuel before the drive. There are no stations for approx. 30 miles of the drive. Several people usually have some selection of tools just in case, but if you're concerned or have spare parts you feel you need to bring, those are your responsibility.
**Event registration is now closed.
